State Police investigating death at Liberty motel The Kentucky State Police are investigating a death that occurred this morning, Sunday, October 31, 2004, at the Royal Inn Express Motel in Liberty, KY. The victim is Sherry J. Oaks, Stanford, KY, 38, who was found dead in her motel room. The cause of death is undetermined at this time. An autopsy will be performed tomorrow. The case is being investigated by Detective George Atwood, Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY.
