Dean 'Goudy' Hadley, 85, Russell County, KY (1935-2020) Dean "Goudy" Hadley, 85, of Jamestown died Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at his home. He was born on October 27, 1935 in Russell County to the late Bart and Lela Hadley. He was baptized at an early age and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Esther Williams Hadley, Jamestown, KY One daughter - Cindy Brockman One son - Steven (Lisa) Hadley Three granddaughters - Kara Raines, Misti Eads, Chelse' Hadley. One great-granddaughter - Maci Robertson Two sisters - Jay Wright, Greenfield, IN Geraldine McKinney, Jamestown, KY A host of nieces & nephews also survive. He was loved very much and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be 1pmCT Friday, November 6, 2020 at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Bodie Emerson officiating. Burial in Phelps Cemetery. Pallbearers: Barry Back, Bob Ford, Jr. Malone, Phillip Oakes, Larry Phelps, Michael Roy. The family requests everyone to follow COVID guidelines including wearing a mask and social distancing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Gideons International and these can be made at the funeral home. Bernard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
