William John Brown, 67, Knifley, KY (1953-2020) William "John" Brown of Knifley passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020, at TJ Sampson Hospital in Glasgow. He was 67 years old. The funeral service for John will be held at 10amCT/11amET on Friday, November 6, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Terry Boston officiating. Burial will follow in Hiter Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4pmCT/5pmET until 7pmCT/8pmET on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Please enter through the front doors (Campbellsville Street side) when you arrive at the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings are required. Born April 10, 1953, in Adair County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Earl and Martha Ellen Bedwell Brown. John was a farmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Hovious Mission Church and was a Godly man. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Brown, of Knifley; two sons, Gary (April) Brown and Jason (Rebecca) Brown, both of Adair County; a daughter, Johnah (Corey) Milby of Taylor County; two step-children, Misty (Brooke) Curry of Louisville and Latisha Curry of Nashville; four grandchildren; one step grandchild; and a godchild, Molly McCarol. He is also survived by four brothers, Charles Edward (Shirley) Brown, Hershel Ray (Jeanette) Brown, George Wesley (Carol) Brown, and James Lee (Deborah) Brown, all of Adair County; three sisters, Regina Doris McAnelly of Adair County, Brenda Sue (Ron) Clarkston of Adair County, and Midge (Don) Sumner of Indiana. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gordon Lee Brown and Herbert Glen Brown; and a sister, Voicel Marie Sanders.
