Crappie USA Classic bringing crowds to Adair this week

By David Jones

Holmes Bend Marina is the site of the 2020 Crappie USA Classic. 125,000 dollars will be given away on October 24, 2020.

I think the tournament will have a great impact on the local economy, not just from fishermen and women but added family members and folks attending with them.

It will definaetly be the largest fishing tournament ever on this lake with this large prize.

I would say there will be 150 boats from 20 plus states here competing along with sponsors and television shows.

Most will be here for the entire week. Lots have already been here and will return the week of the tournament

This could be the largest impact on our economy ever, in one week.
