Norman Ray Warren, 59, Green Co., KY (1961-2020)

Norman Ray Warren of Green County passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. He was 59 years old.

The funeral services for Norman Ray Warren will be conducted at 2pmCT on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at the Union Separate Baptist Church with Bro. Thomas Metcalfe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation is requested after 10amCT on Thursday at the Union Separate Baptist Church, until time of the funeral service.



Norman Ray Warren of Green County, son of Mary Clem Underwood Warren of Summersville and the late Roy Nevill Warren, was born on Wednesday, June 14, 1961 in Shelbyville, Kentucky.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ.

Besides his mother he is survived by his wife, Dana Walker Warren of Green County, having united in marriage on January 13, 2020.

Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Justin Ray and Allison Warren of Tennessee; a daughter and son-in-law: Constance Pooh and Dylan Cherry of Tennessee; a step-daughter: SaVanna Taylor of Hodgenville; six grandchildren: Tucker Cherry, Grayson Cherry, Benton Cherry, Hudson Cherry, Nevia Warren, and River Warren all of Tennessee; five sisters and three brothers-in-law: Jennifer Arnett of Greensburg, Tina Warren, Suzy and Aaron Burton, Marilyn and Bean Wright all of Summersville, and Leona and Alan Posey of Campbellsville; a brother: Mitchell Warren of Summersville; six nephews and a niece: Matthew Stillwell, Jeremy Stillwell, Colton Wright, Scooter Earl, Wesley Burton, Phillip Burton and Summer Wright; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Warren was also preceded in death by a son: James Robert Warren in 2001.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial expenses, which can be made at the church or the funeral home.
