Health check time at Westlake Hospital's Health Fair

The big news for the upcoming weekend in Adair and surrounding counties is the 2004 Westlake Regional Hospital Health Fair. The popular event will be held this Saturday, October 16th with booths opening at 7 a.m. and events going on all morning. There's just no better way to get helpful screenings and advice for so little money. One comes away from the annual event feeling better all o ver.

Westlake offers hundreds of dollars in health screenings for only $12.00 (remember to fast after midnight before going in for the blood draw on Saturday morning).

At the health fair there will be free services galore, plus concessions, a color television give-away, and much, much more.

The low-cost comprehensive blood screenings have become so popular over the years that they have been drawing blood for the past two weeks and will finish up on the day of the event.

Just call 384-4753 if you have any questions.

A Health Fair tradition

2004-10-17 - Columbia, KY - Photo Linda Waggener. A HEALTH FAIR TRADITION always includes hot food and take-home baked goods provided by the Westlake Hospital Auxiliary. Under the big white tent outside the hospital on Saturday were these volunteers: Sharon Harris, Shirley Dudley, Administrator Rex A. Tungate, Evelyn Phelps and Jim Hagan. The Administrator credits the group's energy and tireless work with many good things that have been done for the hospital.
