Morning Report THURSDAY, October 7, 2004 Four names, three choices, being mentioned for new Mayor Four names have been consistently suggested around Columbia as possible successors to Mayor Curtis Hardwick, since his resignation was publicly announced, Monday October 4, 2004 . The resignation is effective October 17, 2004. The four names represent, in all likelihood, only three choices:
Gas is over $2.00 a gallon Premium gas prices have climbed to over $2.00 a gallon in Columbia, with only the regular grade, at $1.959, below the threshhold.
