Lindsey Wilson Men's XC wins at Louisville Classic

Louisville, KY - Four Lindsey Wilson men's cross country harriers finished in the top-10 to lift the Blue Raiders to a season-opening win at Louisville Classic today at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park.

Lindsey Wilson tallied 27 team points to best second-place Transylvania's (KY) 69 points in the Silver Race. Mid-South Conference member Georgetown (KY) finished third with 84 points.



Levi Owens led the quartet of Blue Raiders in the top-10. He posted a time of 26 minutes and 23.1 seconds to finish runner-up in the 83-man race. The second-place finish marks his seventh career top-10.

Jordan Tucker, Jim Headrick, and Victor Clark all crossed the finish line in succession. Tucker crossed in sixth place with a time of 27:06 followed by Headrick (27:11) and Clark (27:14).

Nolane Foushee ended in 12th in his first collegiate race with a time of 27:43.

Noah Brown and Mason Stogsdill each ended in the top-50. Brown posted 29:36 to finish in 43rd while Stogsdill finished 48th in 29:51.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Drakes Creek Scramble in Bowling Green, KY.
