Katherine Hitch, 74 Katherine Hitch, 74, 689 Sulpher Creek Road, Columbia, KY (the Ella Community) passed away Saturday, September 25, 2004, at 2:40 a.m., at her home after a short illness. The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 28, 204, at 11:00 a.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, Columbia, KY, with Rev. J. Richard Lehman officiating. Mrs. Hitch was a homemaker and attended the Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church. She was the daughter of the late Cassius Thurman and Lougenie Alice Jessie Coomer of Barren County, KY. Mrs. Hitch is survived by her husband, Johnie Hitch, Columbia, KY. She is further survived by the following:
Interment will be in the New Hope Cemetery. The family requests visitation after 3:00 p.m., on Monday, September 27, 2004, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY.
