Taylor County Voting Options for the 2020 General Election

Larry Smith sends the following information for Taylor County voters from Mark Carney, Taylor County Clerk

Voters in Taylor County will be able to vote using one of the following options in the upcoming General Election:

1. In Person, either of two ways:

  • a. Early Voting at the new Taylor County Fire Department, located at 1563 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY, close to light #1, across from the Bowling Alley.

    Early Voting will be from October 13, 2020 to November 2, 2020, Monday through Friday from 8amET to 4:30pmET, and on Saturdays from 8amET to NoonET.

  • b. Election Day at any one of the eight polling locations in Taylor County:

    1. Taylor Co. Extension Office, 1143 S. Columbia Avenue, Campbellsville
    2. Taylor Co. Fire Department, 1563 Greensburg Rd., Campbellsville
    3. Community Center, 1425 Hodgenville Rd., Campbellsville
    4. Taylor Co. Primary School, 106 Ingram Ave., Campbellsville
    5. Elkhorn Baptist Church, 3145 Elkhorn Rd., Campbellsville
    6. Green River Memorial Baptist Church, 3441 Old Columbia Road, Campbellsville
    7. Lowell Ave. Baptist Church, 420 Lowell Ave., Campbellsville
    8. Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 6380 Old Lebanon Rd., Campbellsville

    Voters can go to ANY polling location to vote, regardless of your address or your "normal" precinct.

    All Precincts will be open 6amET to 6pmET on November 3, 2020.
2. By Mail using the state portal at to request your ballot. If you do not have access to a computer and wish to vote by mail, you can call our office at 270-465-6677. The deadline to request an absentee ballot through the portal is 11:59pmET on October 9, 2020.
