Reader Dwight Sexton wants Betty's to reopen Dwight Sexton hopes to see Betty's restaurant reopen soon. He's made his second request of Columbia Magazine to find out when they're going to reopen. (We ran their notice last week that the restaurant would reopen on the fourth. However, we received a call from prospective new owners saying that it might not happen due to continuing negotiations, and were told to hold on the What's Cooking daily menu ad.) Dwight hopes the current owners and prospective owners can work it out soon so the restaurant can reopen - and he said he really hopes they are not deadlocked like the Democrats and Republicans - completely unable to come to agreement! He is going to other restaurants and still he misses Betty's. Anyone with new details is asked to please reply for Dwight. This story was posted on 2020-09-04 09:28:39
