Stella Martin Allen, 88, Indianapolis, IN (1931-2020)

Stella Martin Allen age 88 of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Wednesday September 2, 2020 at Community South Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1pmET on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Bro. De Lane Pinkston officiating. Burial will be in the Hustonville Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at 11amET on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

For the health and respect of the family please follow all rules for social distancing. Due to State Mandate: Masks will be required for the funeral and visitation.



She was born October 12th, 1931 in Lincoln Co., KY a Daughter of the late Everett Martin and Mary Sharp.

Stella was the widow of Clarence Belden and Frank Allen.

Stella was a homemaker, mother, seamstress for Hand Manchester and Vogel, and a clerk in a general store. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Christian Church, she volunteered a lot of time to teaching Sunday School and Bible Studies.

Survivors include: Five Daughters: Judy and Randy Reitmeyer of Indianapolis, IN, Jill Brown of St. Petersburg, FL, Janet and Carl Brill of Carson City, CO, Joy and Joe Orberson of Gravel Switch, KY and Jeanine and Kirk Burkhart of Indianapolis, IN, Seven Grandchildren: Jennifer, Jamie, Jody, Joseph, Jason, Jonathon and Amanda, Eight Great Grandchildren: Javian, Jazmine, Jordan, T.J., Cameron, Tommy, Jaden and Jynel and Four Great Great Grandchildren: Aria, Nolan, Bradly and Jalee Kaye.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouses was Two Brothers: Bill Martin and Paul Martin and One Sister: Alice Brown.
