Obituary: Margaret ''Peg'' Tooley, 92, Adair Co., KY

Margaret "Peg" Tooley, 92, 309 Maple Street, Columbia, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2004, at 9:15 p.m., at the Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY, after a short illness.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY, with Bro. Terry White officiating.


She was the daughter of the late Roy and Nellie Ethel Wolverton Simmerman of Anderson, IN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter William Tooley, on April 3, 1990.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Mrs. Tooley was a member of the Columbia Christian Church and a homemaker.

Visitation will be after 8:00 a.m., Saturday, September 4, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, Columbia, KY.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to the Debt Retirement Fund of the Columbia Christian Church and may be left at the funeral home.
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
