Jackie Bailey, 71, Adair County, KY (1948-2020)

Jacqueline "Jackie" Bailey, 71, of Columbia, died Friday, August 28, 2020 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.

She was born November 21, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Elvis Lee & Susie Tucker McGowan. She was a homemaker and a member of Ono Community Church.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ewell Gene McGowan.

Survivors are:

Her husband, Dennis Bailey, Columbia

Daughter, Kristie Wade, Columbia

Three brothers: Desmond (Linda) McGowan, Russell Springs; Frankie McGowan, Russell Springs and Freddie McGowan, Russell Springs

She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 3pmCT Monday, August 31, 2020 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Asa Wooten officiating. Visitation will be 1pmCT Monday until funeral time.

Interment will be in the Haven Hill Cemetery in Columbia.

Bernard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
