Merial Jean Sanders Greer, 87, Liberty, KY (1932-2020) Merial Jean Sanders Greer, of Liberty, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020, at Casey County Hospital. She was 87 years of age. Funeral services are scheduled for 1pmET on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Brother Kenny Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from NoonET to 1pmET on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Please enter through the front doors (Campbellsville Street side) of the funeral home when you arrive for visitation. Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings ARE required. Born October 7, 1932, in Adair County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Audie and Annie Campbell Sanders. Merial was a retired machine operator for Fruit of the Loom and attended Cold Springs Primitive Baptist Church. She was also a former cook for the Casey County School System and a caregiver. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy (Lovanda Isaacs) Greer of Liberty and Ricky (Patricia) Greer of Hopkinsville; and one daughter, Sherry (Al) Clements of Pleasant Plain, Ohio. Other survivors include one brother, Carl Ray Sanders of Jefferson County; one sister, Jeanette Stargle of Shepherdsville; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Merial was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Greer, who passed away on September 22, 2003; two sons, Michael Greer and Gary Greer; four brothers; and two sisters.
