Denver Darnell, 76 Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home for Mr. Denver Darnell who passed away August 15 in Hopkinsville after an illness.A former resident of the Fairplay community, he was the son of the late Francis Lee and Amanda Frances Harvey Darnell of Adair county. Mr. Darnell is survived by three sons:
He was preceded in death by one son, Sherman Darnell, in 1997, by a great grandson and two step great grandchildren. Bro. Ralph Hadley will be the clergy officiating at the Tuesday afternoon service. Burial will follow in the Haven Hill Cemetery. The family requests visitation after 5 p.m. Monday, August 16.
