ACSO still seeking help to identify critically injured biker

By Sheriff Josh Brockman
Adair County Sheriff's Office

On Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at 4:06pmCT Adair County Sheriffs Office responded to a call received by Adair 911 of a vehicle vs pedestrian collision 4 miles east of Columbia in KY80.

Upon arrival and investigation it was found that an unknown white male that appears to be in his early to mid 20's was pushing his bike in the middle of the roadway going west toward Columbia.

Unit two a 2007 Chevy pickup operated by William Bryant 79 of Columbia who was also traveling East came over a small rise and struck the male who was in the roadway.

At This time we have no positive ID on the pedestrian. We have distributed a picture to local and state media sources that was taken from a security camera a few hours prior to the collision.

He had no form of ID on him or any information leading to where he was or came from. We have information he was seen in Casey County and Russell County earlier in the day. We are tracking down all leads but have had no success in making ID.

At this time he is in critical condition and any information that anyone may have that may help please let us know so we can try to find his family.
