Albert Earl Antle, 95, Jamestown, KY Albert Earl Antle of Jamestown passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at Russell County Hospital. He was 95 years old. Funeral services for Albert Earl Antle will be held at 2pmCT on Sunday, August 9, 2020, at the Fairview Separate Baptist Church, at the JCT of Hwy 55 and 379, Jamestown, Kentucky 42642. Bro. Randy Brown and Bro. Willard Bryant will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Russell Springs City Cemetery, 1516 Lakeway Drive, Russell Springs, Kentucky. Visitation will be Sunday, August 9, 2020, from NoonCT to 2pmCT, at the Fairview Separate Baptist Church. All Covid Regulations will be followed. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Doris Dalton Antle; his parents Virgil and Florence Piercy Antle; son in law Tim Reece, two sisters; Rada Atchley and Shelby Jean Brown; and numerous other family members. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Kay Reece, of Jamestown KY, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was a long-time faithful member of Fairview Separate Baptist Church, where he was willing to do whatever was needed in the church. He was instrumental in building the church and served as the treasurer for many years, and a deacon for approximately 60 years. Albert Earl served in the US Army during World War II in the 32nd infantry Division 127 regiment, Company I, as a Private 1st class. He served in the South West Pacific New Guinea, Luzon, and Leyte Island in the Philippines. Pallbearers were Dale Brown, Billy Carroll, Neal Dalton, Jeff Dalton, David Dalton and Lane Holt. The family requests expressions of sympathy to be given to the Fairview Separate Baptist Church or Russell County Honor Guard. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
