Margaret Elliott Judd, 104, Exie, KY (1915-2020)

Margaret Elliott Judd of the Exie Community of Green County passed away on August 3, 2020. She was 104 years old.

The funeral services for Margaret Elliott Judd will be conducted at 10amCT on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Wilburn Bonta and Bro. Dennis Penick officiating. Burial will follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery.

Walk through visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, and after 7amCT on Thursday until time for the funeral service. Please practice social distancing.



Margaret Elliott Judd of the Exie Community of Green County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Earl Joseph Elliott and Maggie Cooper Elliott, was born on Monday, October 25, 1915 in Lafayette, Indiana and departed this life on Monday, August 3, 2020 at the Green Hill Rehab & Care Center. She was 104 years, 9 months, and 9 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church. She was also a retired machine operator for Fruit of the Loom, Inc.

She united in marriage to Ausbon V. Judd on October 5, 1940 who preceded her in death on February 24, 1951.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Donnie Ray and Ruthie Judd of Exie; a daughter and son-in-law: Ramona and Ronnie Russell of Exie; three grandchildren: Marty Russell, Melissa Brown, and Quinn Morgan all of Exie; 7 great-grandchildren: Brittany Morgan Judd, Taylor Russell, Madison Russell, Mason Russell, Tyler Russell, Gavin Brown, and Gaylan Brown; two great-great-grandchildren: Braylee Judd and Lilly Judd; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Judd was also preceded in death by a great-grandson: Brandon Wayne Morgan on September 7, 2010; three brothers and five sisters: Thomas Elliott, Earl Mike Elliott, Charles Bud Elliott, Ann Elliott, Ruth Connors, Jean McElhoe, Marie Jones, and Dorothy Dodo Hughes.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Greasy Creek Baptist Church, which can be made at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Ronnie Russell, Donnie Juddl, Marty Russell, Cody Judd, Gavin Brown, Wayne Morgan, Ronald Gene Tucker.

Honorary Pallbearers: Quinn Morgan, Brittany Morgan Judd,, Tonya Russell, Mason Russell, Tyler Russell, Melissa Brown, Gaylan Brown, Madison Russell, Taylor Russell, Harry Beauchamp.
