Marguerite Richards Arnold, 68

Marguerite Richards Arnold, 68, 425 West Page Street, Columbia, KY, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2004, at 10:40 a.m., at Westlake Regional Hospital, after a short illness.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY, with Pastor David Hansel officiating.


She was the daughter of the late Dallas Abraham and Mary Jane Harmon Richards of Adair County, KY.

Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Lee "Jim" Arnold on July 7, 2002.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three sons: James Earl Arnold, Columbia, KY; Dallas Wayne Arnold, Richmond, KY; and Joseph Leo Arnold, Russell Springs, KY
  • Three step-sons: John Charles Arnold, Shepherdsville, KY; George Arnold, Pennsylvania; and Anthony Arnold, Shepherdsville, KY
  • Three daughters: Tammy Marie McInteer, Columbia; Marty Arnold, Columbia, KY; and Cassie Gale Hoots, Campbellsville, KY
  • Three step-daughters: Judy Mutchler, Maryland; Mary Boyd, Louisville; and Betty Sachlaben, Louisville, KY
  • Four brothers: Dallas E. "Bill" Richards, and Ted Richards, Columbia, KY; Donald L. Richards, Elizabethtown, KY; and Dwight Richards, Aurora, IL
  • Four sisters: Mary Helen Young Costello, Columbia, KY; Sarah Ann Cook, Louisville, KY; Loretta Fay Young, Montgomery, Il, and Sheila Jacqueline Clyburn, Nashville, TN
  • And 28 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Interment will be in the Lebanon National Cemetery at Lebanon, KY.

Mrs. Arnold was a member of the Caring the Torch Ministries in Columbia, KY, and was an evangelist and homemaker. Visitation will begin after 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
