Kenneth Eugene Alderson Sr, 86, Metcalfe County, KY Kenneth Eugene Alderson, Sr., age 86, of Edmonton passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at his home. He was a member of the Edmonton Methodist Church but was attending the Glens Fork United Methodist Church at the time of his death. Funeral services will be held 2pmCT Sunday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Mann Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 Sunday until service time. Due to the current Covid-19 Crisis masks will be required and the service will be limited to close family. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana he was the son of the late William and Irene Bowman Alderson. Mr. Alderson served his country in the United States Air Force doing 10 years of service. He was retired from doing concrete work in Iowa. He survived by his wife Beverly Johnsen Alderson of Edmonton. One son Fred (Kenzie) Alderson of Iowa, one daughter Tammy (Craig) Trumbo of Edmonton, One brother William Alderson Jr. of Indiana, Four sisters, Nora Hall of Indiana, Patricia Wagner of Beaumont, Sherry Noel of Indiana and Katherine Muse of Beaumont, Eight grandchildren Marcus, Devin, Lily, Peyton and Aiden Alderson, Megan and Lacy Trumbo and Cheyanna Darden. Four great grandchildren also survive. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Kenneth "Kenny" Alderson Jr. Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
