Westlake Auxiliary to be honored The Westlake Regional Hospital Auxiliary will be featured in an upcoming issue of The Kentucky Hospital Association Newsletter, printed for and about Kentucky hospital volunteers, according to member Sue Stivers. The Kentucky Hospital Association Newsletter is a quarterly newsletter that President Margaret Sparks receives at Westlake," Sue says, "and a photo of the officers has been requested to accompany the upcoming story." She promises to share the story with us for reprinting as soon as it is published. "The Westlake Regional Hospital Auxiliary is an extremely valuable asset to our hospital," says Administrator Rex A. Tungate. "Through their fundraising efforts, they have purchased many noteworthy items for our hospital including landscaping, patient equipment, furniture, wallpaper and other items too numerous to mention. They even provided the funds for our heliport. I am very proud of the things the Auxiliary does for our hospital, and I am also proud to be a member myself of this worthy group of individuals." For information about how to become a member of the local hospital auxiliary, contact any of the officers or members through the hospital at 270-384-4753 or Sue Stivers at the Chamber of Commerce, 384-6020.
