His own personal memory - I was setting on the counter at Harry Lee Dohoney's station talking to Billy Ray Dohoney! Following are a few of those who shared memories with Ralph... Lois Cunningham - Walking across the bridge over the St Johns River. Jacksonville Florida 3 weeks before I had my son. Cabbie stopped and told me. Took me home free. Richard Fitzpatrick - Was in 8th grade St Patrick Elem in Bridgeport Ct. I was attending my Grandfather Charles Fitzpatrick's funeral. Joe Hare - Wayne Smith's PE class at ACHS. Louella Gore - CL and I were in college at Eastern. Sad weekend! Sue Pickett Grant - I was driving around the square! Margaret Bault Varble - I was in Mr. Sullivan's Chemistry class at ACHS. Johnny Vaughn > Margaret Bault Varble - Same here, but I was in the hall when I heard. Maurita Chelf Herron - In a classroom at Knifley grade school Leslie Sapp - setting in front of the tv, watching moma cry... everyone thought the world was coming to the end, I was 5 years old... JD Hadley - Mom came to the barn where the rest of us were stripping tobacco and told us. Elaine Cravens - In science class 7th grade. Perry East Middle School Rex Rexroat - Latin class Becky Rogers - Yes Third grade at CWE Mrs Allen Patricia Holladay Bennett - Yep 1st grade in Jean McLean's room. She cried and so did we.
