Rev. Henry K. Nelson, age 57, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020.

A Walk-Through visitation will be from 4-6pmCT Friday, July 10, 2020 at Jacob Grove Baptist Church in Summersville.



There will also be a visitation 9-11am Eastern Time with a funeral service to follow at Portland Memorial Baptist Church, 3800 W Market Street, Louisville, KY. Burial will follow in the Green Meadows Memorial Cemetery in Louisville.

He was retired form Jefferson County Public Schools. He was the Dean with BUCHC of The General Association of Baptist in Kentucky. First Vice Moderator of the Zion District Association and Pastor of Jacob Grove Baptist Church in the Summersville Community of Green County, KY

He is survived by 3 brothers: Charles A. Nelson, Rev. George L. Nelson and Rev. William G. Nelson, and two sisters: Jameelah-Shabazz and Deborah-Pulce Nelson.
