Letter: No mask, get sick, don't go to ER

James Roberts writes:
I understand fully if you do or do not wear a mask, it is your choice. That’s what so great about this country and what it was founded upon. Choice and freedoms. Neither one of those came lightly but at a very personal expense from someone in our family.

I personally know of 3 people that have died from this horrible disease. If you ever experience someone dying of this then you will feel a little different about the mask situation.

There are masks that help with the spread of disease and viruses. That is, if you're human and have feeling for your fellow man. The one reason have we laws for speed limits, seatbelts, and driving while under the influence is sometimes we as a society can’t control or govern ourselves so someone has to step in and make that decision for us.

If you care then wear. If not, stay home. The ones that don’t care or won’t wear a mask will be the first ones to call an ambulance or show up at the emergency room if they get sick. So if you don’t wear one and you get sick, stay home and don’t call anyone for help! - Just my opinion, James
