Marguerite Todd Grider, 102, Columbia, KY (1917-2020) Marguerite Todd Grider of Columbia passed away Sunday, July 5. 2020 in Campbellsville, KY. She was 102 years old. The Funeral service will be held at 11amCT on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. John Chowning and Bro Leslie Jewell officiating. Burial will follow in the Cane Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday From 4pmCT to 8pmCT at the funeral home, and will continue on Wednesday morning until time for the service. For the health and respect of the family, please follow all rules for social distancing and The Healthy at Work Guidelines. She was born September 5, 1917, the daughter of the late Curt and Minnie Jones Stephens. She was preceded in death by her husband: George Robert Todd on April 15, 1984 and later married Ernest Grider who preceded her in death on November 25, 2000. Survived by two sons: George Curtis Todd (Jo Ann) and Jimmy Todd (Sherlene) both of Columbia, KY. Five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren and by 9 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Grider was a member of the Cane Valley Baptist Church she was retired from Union Underwear and a homemaker. In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by two infant sons Robert Hurt Todd and Mitchell Todd, a brother Denny "Buddy" Stephens, a half-brother Bobby Stephens, two great grandchildren Willie Kyle and Claire York. Pallbearers will be Patrick Todd, Steve York, Cody Bumpus, Bradley Lee, Reed York & Randall Banks Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Gideon Bibles.
