By Kirby Hancock

The Kentucky State FFA Convention was held virtually this year, from June 30th to July 2nd. Throughout these three days the Adair County FFA Chapter both middle school and high school brought home first place awards along with several other achievements.

The middle school chapter was awarded first place in the Quiz Bowl competition and the high school Record Keeping Team brought home a second place.

We had three individuals participate in speaking contests, Jeanene Pike, Tanner Strange, and Rachel Hatcher. Rebecca Heuser participated in the employability skills development event. There were also three individuals who were awarded their State Degrees. Those individuals were, Jeanene Pike, Ty Cheatham, and Elizabeth Stamper.

Lastly, there were two individuals recognized for their regional winning proficiencies, Hayden Hancock and Reece Giles.
