All they ask is you wear a mask. Why not?

By Linda Waggener

A friend shared an experience observed at the entry of a doctors building. In front of her a man was stopped for temperature registeration.

With that good, the attendant then asked him to put on a mask.

He refused, saying he did not wear masks. She said, "Then I'm afraid you won't be able to enter. He said, "I have an appointment."

She said, "Without a mask no one is allowed inside."

He left.

My friend and I wondered what's the big deal about putting on a mask when you're out in public, especially when asked to for entry into a medical office?

Why would someone stand at the door of a place of healthcare and think for one second of not protecting the very people he/she seeks service from?

We couldn't figure it out. It seemed to us that we absolutely must protect healthcare workers as long as this pandemic is growing - and it is.
