Aaron Tom Collins, 85, Russell Springs, KY (1934-2020)

Aaron Tom Collins of Russell Springs passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at the V.A. Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was 85 years old.

A religious service will be held at Coffeys Grove Separate Baptist Church, Jamestown, KY, at 3pmCT on Sunday, June 14, 2020, with Bro. Garnett Hammond and Eric Antle officiating. Interment will follow in the Collins-Warriner Cemetery, with full Military Honors by the Russell County Honor Squad.

A walk through visitation will be held from 1pmCT to 3pmCT on Sunday at Coffeys Grove Seperate Baptist Church.



Aaron was born in Jamestown, KY on December 2, 1934, a son of the late Ruby (Mann) and Forrest B. Collins.

He was a member of Coffeys Grove Seperate Baptist Church Jamestown, KY .

He served in the U.S. Marines in the Korean War.

Aaron is survived by:
  • Two daughters, Carol (Eric) Lawless, and Melissa (Randy) McIntosh
  • Four sons Gerald Collins, Roger (Rhonda) Collins, Ronnie (Pamela) Collins and Randy (Melissa) Collins
  • A sister, Wanda Bunch
  • A brother, Lynn Collins
  • 22 grandchildren
  • 13 great grandchildren
  • A host of nieces and nephews
He is preceded in death his parents, his wife Margaret Collins, a daughter Kathy Collins, two sisters, Ester Collins and Phyllis Malone, and five brothers, Clifton, James, Lester, Beckham, and Curtis Collins.
