CPD: Theft hit and run By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department The Columbia Police are investigating a vehicle theft which resulted in a hit and run accident, late Thursday night, June 11, 2020. An unknown party struck a tree on Jamestown Street between a residence and Franklin Nissan before fleeing the scene. It was later found the vehicle had been stolen from J&S Auto Sales on Russell Road, just outside of the city limits. If anyone has any information leading to identifying the driver please contact The Columbia Police Department by calling Adair 911's non-emergency line at 270-384-6464 or The Columbia Police Department directly during business hours at 270-384-4119.
