Marion Francine Fortenberry, 54, Jamestown, KY (1965-2020)

Marion Francine Fortenberry of Jamestown passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at Russell County Hospital. She was 54 years old.

A graveside service will be held at Jamestown City Cemetery, Jamestown, KY, at 1pmCT on Friday, June 12, 2020, with Pastor Christopher Langston officiating. Burial in the Jamestown Cemetery Jamestown, KY.

Walk through visitation is requested on Friday from 11amCT to 1pmCT at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main St., Jamestown, KY.

Marion was born in Columbia, KY on November 24, 1965, a daughter of Mary Alice (Bernard) McDonald and the late Roy Phillip Sullivan.

Marion is survived by:
  • Her mother Mary Alice McDonald
  • A daughter, Kimberly Popplewell
  • A son, Thomas Fortenberry
  • Three sisters, Karen (Jimmy) Mullins, Cleda McDonald (John) Scott, and Rhonda Lawless
  • Two brothers, Randy and Woody Sullivan
  • Three grandchildren, MaKaylah and Trystan Bennett, and Alexander Fortenberry
  • A host of nieces and nephews
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Vernon Fortenberry, granddaughter Chloe Fortenberry and sister Linda McDonald Staples,
