Catherine Burchett, 72

Chatherine Burchett, 72, 445 Sullivan Road, Columbia, KY (the Cundiff community), died Tuesday, April 3, 2004, at 7:30 p.m., at the home of a daughter in Campbellsville.

The funeral service will be Saturday, April 17, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., at Grissom Funeral Home in Columbia, KY, with Bro. Buford Hadley officiating.

Mrs. Burchett was the daughter of the late Clarence and Nora Blakey Cape, the widow of Rollin Burchett, a member of the Melson Ridge Separate Baptist Church, where she was treasurer for many years; and was retired from Fruit of the Loom.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three sons: Phillip and Ronnie Burchett, Chicago, IL; and Darron Burchett, Nicholasville, KY
  • Two daughters: Delores Newton, Campbellsville, and Teresa Coffey, Columbia, KY
  • One brother: Lester Cape, Seattle, WA
  • And 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Burial will be in Burchett Cemetery, Cundiff.

Grissom Funeral Home, Columbia, KY, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be at the funeral home after 3 p.m., April 16, 2004.
