Ruby Humphress, 66

Ruby Humphress, 66, 619 Tutt Street, Columbia, died Monday, April 12, 2004, at 2:06 p.m., at Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room.

The funeral service will be Thursday, April 15, 2004, at 2:00 p.m., at Grissom Funeral Home, Coumbia, KY, with Bro. Hugh Withers and Bro. Terry White officiating.


Mrs. Humphress was the daughter of the late Jordan and Flora Linville Cothron of Tennessee and a member of Egypt Christian Church.

Survivors include the following:
  • Her husband: Wallace Humphress, Columbia, KY
  • Three sons and daughters-in-law: Mike and Judy Humphress, Campbellsville; Ricky and Rhonda Humphress, Indianapolis, In; and Ronnie and Kimberly Humphress, Brownsburg, IN
  • Four daughters and sons-in-law: Debra and Larry Livingston, Indianapolis, In; Cheryl and Tim Dunn, Mooresville, IN; Charlotte and Jody Sloan, New Castle, IN; and Tammy Humphress, Columbia, KY
  • Three brothers: James Cothron, Somerset, KY; J.C. Cothron, Lafayette, TN: Fred Cothron, Underwood, IN
  • And 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Joyce Humphress, and by two brothers, J.D. and Charles Cothron.

Grissom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be at the Grissom Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2004.

Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery.
