Health Department expansion celebrated By Linda Waggener Renovations to the Health Department are complete and an open house was held to celebrate and share the facility with the public last week. Guests toured the expanded office space required to comply with new HIPAA guidelines, larger and improved waiting and service areas for the public, and additional storage spaces. The Health Department in Adair County is a part of the 10-county Lake Cumberland District health Department and is responsible for meeting the public health needs of our citizens.
