Fannie Grasham Flowers, 97

Fannie Grasham Flowers, 97, formerly of Columbia, KY, died Friday, April 2, 2004, at the Pickett County Health Care Center in Byrdstown , TN.

The funeral service will be Sunday, April 4, 2004, at 4:00 p.m., at Grissom Funeral Home, with Bro. Raymond Martin and Rev. Dwight Forderhase officiating.


Mrs. Flowers was the daughter of the late Eugene Newell and Myrtie Valeria Hood Grasham and a member of the Columbia-Union Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Edwin Price and Karl Flowers and by a brother and sister, Robert Hood Grasham and Irene Grasham.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her sister-in-law: Mary M. Staples Grasham, Columbia
  • Four nephews and spouses: Edward Eugene and barbara Grasham, Byrdstown, TN; and Robert Hoood and Bessie Grasham, Columbia, KY; George Otis and Debbie Grasham, Charlestown, IN; and David Ray and Karen Flowers, Ninevah, IN
  • One niece and spouse: Elizabeth Alice and Robert Johnson, Jackson, TN
  • Five great nephews, one great niece and two great-great nephews
  • A first cousin, Randolph Hood Flowers, Columbia
Burial will be in the Columbia Cemetery.

Visitation is after 5:30 p.m., Saturday, April 3, 2004.
