Roy Graybeal, 79, Campbellsville, KY (1940-2020) Roy Graybeal of Campbellsville passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. He was 79 years old. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville, officiated by Bro. Jeff Newton. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be left at parrottramsey.com. Roy Graybeal of Campbellsville, son of the late Oscar Graybeal and Nancy Denny Graybeal, was born July 27, 1940 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 1:33 A.M., Tuesday, May 19, 2020 in Elizabethtown. He united in marriage to Shirley Naomi Sluder March 2, 1962 and she preceded him in death May 29, 2017. Roy worked as a body man and did automobile body repair for many years. He loved fishing and mountain trailing and also enjoyed taking his grandchildren and great-grandchildren on walks. Roy is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and James Bishop of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Kelli Flaherty and husband, Mark of Cape Coral, Florida and Brian Judd and wife, Shannon of Hodgenville; four great-grandchildren: Bayly Judd, Chloe Judd, Scotlyn Edelen and Emily Flaherty; one sister, Lucille Bailey of Shepherdsville; one sister-in-law, Janice Graybeal of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters: Hayden Graybeal, Murrell Graybeal, Hubert Graybeal, Raymond Graybeal, Bruce Graybeal, Millard Graybeal, Pearl Cox and Okry Farmer.
