James Ronald (Jiggs) Smith, 69, Portland, KY (1950-2020) James Ronald "Jiggs" Smith of the Portland community passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was 69 years old. The family has chosen a Drive-Thru visitation from 5pmCT to 7pmCT on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. The funeral service and burial in Tarter's Chapel Cemetery will be held privately. Online condolences may be left at grissommartin.com. He was born October 31, 1950, in Adair County, to the late James Robert and Jessie Ruth Pyles Smith, attended Pickett's Chapel United Methodist Church and drove a truck for Coffey's Trucking Company for over 30 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dianne Smith. Survivors include:
