Norma Jean Grider Jessie, 83, Columbia, KY (1936-2020) Norma Jean Grider Jessie of Columbia passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020, at the Summit Manor Nursing Home. She was 83 years old. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday at the Haven Hill Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.stottsphelpsmcquearyfh.com. Born July 27, 1936, in Adair County she was the daughter of the late William "Bill" and Margie Grant Grider. Mrs. Jessie was a member of the Glensfork Community Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Curly Jessie and her children's father Norman Aaron and two sons Roger Lee Aaron and Randy Jessie. Survivors include nine children Sharon Kelsay (Jimmy), Nenia Dykes (Tangle), Beth Lawless, Terry Aaron (Lisa), Doug Aaron (Debbie), Debbie Wilson (Steve), Lynn Chowning, Sherri Patton (Richie) and Sandy Padgett (Fred); three sisters Iva Dean Collins (Bobby), Carolyn Bennett and Anita Fletcher (Billy); a brother Daryl Grider (Phyllis); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Glensfork Community Church, donations can be left at the funeral home or sent to P.O. Box 236, Columbia, KY 42728.
