Ruby Sharp Passmore, 76, Eli, KY (1943-2020) Ruby Sharp Passmore of Eli passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at her residence. She was 76 years old. The funeral service will be held privately for family only, with Bro. Phillip Smallwood officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Contown Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.mckinneybrown.com. Born on October 15, 1943, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Otis and Murtie Lane Sharp. Ruby was a homemaker. She enjoyed music and dancing. She was of the Christian faith. She is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Steve) Bell of Jamestown and Angela Passmore of Eli; two sons, James (Amber) Passmore of Burnside and Timothy Passmore of Liberty; seven grandchildren; Madison, Landon, Logan, Hunter, Timothy Jr., McKenzie and Alexis; and one great-grandchild, Leo. Other survivors include four sisters, Shirley Luttrell, Betty Chumley, Vivian Delores Sallee and Janet Luttrell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Ray Passmore; a daughter, Deborah Ann Sharp; and a brother, Arcie Sharp. Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
