J.O.Y Ministries asks for help with food and VBS plans

By Maggie coleman

We have been in much prayer about summer activities and how to minister in this unusual time. We have decided to do food bags (several weeks) for kids in need to help supplement the meals distributed by the school system.

We also want to do “Bible School In A Bag” for as many students as we can this summer. We know Vacation Bible School is a huge outreach for most churches and kids usually love VBS! We would like to do VBS bags 5 times through the summer for as many kids as we possibly can each week.

Anyone wanting to distribute them to neighborhoods would be welcome to do so as well! If we can’t bring them to us we are going to bring it to them! If you or your church or organization would like to help feed students in need this summer or help us fill up Bible School In A Bag let us know!

Find J.O.Y. Ministries list of needs on their Facebook page.
