Marjorie Bowen Hendrickson, 90, Campbellsville, KY (1929-2020) Marjorie Bowen Hendrickson of Campbellsville passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020. She was 90 years old. All services will be held privately. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at parrottramsey.com. Marjorie Bowen Hendrickson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Wesley Rease Bowen and Alice Lee Campbell Bowen, was born June 17, 1929 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:42 A.M., Saturday, May 2, 2020 in Columbia. She professed faith in Christ and joined Asbury United Methodist Church at age seven and has been a member there for eighty three years. She was also a member of United Methodist Women and served in several ministries of the church. Marjorie retired from Fruit of the Loom where she worked for 44 years. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and cooking for everyone. She loved family get togethers. Marjorie is survived by one daughter, Mary Lawson and husband, Barry of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: McKenzie Lawson of Bowling Green and Philip Lawson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Georgia Bowen of Campbellsville; nieces and nephews, Debbie, Jeff and LeAnn Straley and Cindy and Tony Rose and family of Campbellsville, and Annette and Ronnie Grider and family of Summer Shade; a great-nephew, Allen Lewis Pike and family and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: Alice Jean Stanfield, Helen Bowen, and W.A. (Billy) Bowen and W.R. Bowen; niece, Alice Lynn Pike and great-niece, Patricia Wilcoxson. The family has requested donations to the Alzheimer's Association. Donations may be made through Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
