Lanie Bunch, 87

The funeral service for Lanie Bunch, 87, 1254 Melson Ridge Road, Jamestown, KY, formerly of the Cundiff community, will be Saturday, February 21, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY, with Bro. Jim Molden officiating.

Visitation is after 5:30 p.m., Friday, February 20, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, Columbia.

Mrs. Bunch passed away Thursday, February 19, 2004, at 9:08 a.m., at her home.

She was the daughter of the late late Ed and Roselee Shearer Cape and the widow of Ezra Bunch, who preceded her in death on September 18, 1994. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Coomer, on March 12, 1991.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son: Royce Bunch, West Chester, Ohio
  • One daughter: Jacqueline Melson, Jamestown, KY
  • One sister: Delpha Grant, Glensfork, KY
  • And five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends
Mrs. Bunch was a member of the Melson Ridge United Baptist Church and had worked at Lake Cumerland State Park.
