Lucretia Begley called a ''miracle'' by her doctors John Begley kept family and friends posted on the dire situation faced by his wife Lucretia and the need for immediate and continuing prayers. What began as vision problems led her from one exam to another until she was given the diagnosis of a brain tumor. The journey was an incredible one and the results are summed up in this most recent note from John which began, "God has done great things for us and our hearts are filled with joy." -Psalm 126:3. "The tumor was not malignant and Lucretia is doing great! It was larger than expected but the surgeons believe they were able to remove perhaps as much as 95%. "Yesterday was another beautiful day for us. Lucretia is now in a private room and feels wonderful. She looks beautiful, and her attitude is above reproach. She is eating well. They have her up and walking up and down the hall and the doctors and nurses are all telling us she is a "miracle." "In the late 50's, I read a book by Frank Laubach called "Prayer- The Mightiest Force in the world." This morning I can tell you first hand that Prayer still is the mightest force in the world. "What is important is that you realize how blessed we both feel to have friends like you who have prayed for Lucretia. Thanks for caring. Thanks for praying and thanks for being there for us."
