Gladwon Lacy, 85, 4092 Sparksville-Fairplay Road, Columbia, KY, Columbia, KY, died Thursday, February 5, 2004, at 11:45 a.m., at Westlake Regional Hospital.

The funeral service is Sunday, February 8, 2004, at Grissom Funeral Home, with Rev. Elbert hadley and Rev. Ralph Hadley officiating.


Mrs. Lacy was the daughter of the late Ezra and Annie Firkin Grider, and the widow of Tom Lacy. She was a member of the Emory Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons and daughters-in-law: Creed and Willa Lacy, Fairplay, Harold Dolphus and Carol Lacy, Marshall, IL
  • Four grandchildren and their spouses: Mackie Jo and Charles Pennington, tamaa and James Davidson, Kim and John Kannmagher, and Chris and David Woll
  • Five great grandchildren: Danielle, Shane and Anthony Kannmagher, and Chris and David Woll.
Burial wil be in McClister Cemetery at Fairplay.

Visitation is after 2 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2004, at Grissom Funeral Home, Columbia, KY.
