Photos from 1880s Greensburg, KY

Larry J. Smith has turned up another great batch of historic photos, this time from 1880's Greensburg, Kentucky.

The photos are from the Howell family collection, and one shows the original Howell & Allen Dry Goods store on the Square in Greensburg, while the other shows a hogshead of tobacco being shipped up the Green River. The Howells operated drug stores in Greensburg and Campbellsville.
