Adair County School update from Dr. Pamela Stephens

Adair School Superintendent, Dr. Pamela Stephens, called students and their families Monday evening with an update about the changes being required. After Gov. Beshear asked that there be no more face to face school sessions through the end of the 2019-2020 academic school year, she said she just wanted to reassure seniors that they will have their special events.

She said plans are being discussed every day and students voices are being heard so choices can be made by the class for prom and commencement and senior time.

Under discussion are possible virtual events, or there can be drive-up or drive-through events, or seniors may choose to postpone events and wait until they can be together face to face again. Dr. Stevens asked everyone to please keep the faith with her and, as questions arrive, to feel free to call her at her office where she'll be every day, 270-384-2476.
