COVID-19 Adair - One new case confirmed By Adair County Judge Executive Gale Cowan Monday evening, April 20, 2020 -- Adair County has one new case of COVID-19 today. This case is an employee at Summit Manor. We have 54 Total Cases with five released from isolation and four deaths. We have 45 Active Cases with 31 in home or SMMH isolation and 14 in area hospitals. Continue to pray for all those affected with the virus, their families, those that have lost loved ones, and our entire community. Tonight I also want to remember our ACHS Seniors. The Class of 2020, you haven't had the senior year you wanted or expected. But I pray you can look back at this and think of the stories you will be able to share one day. You have taken this situation so well. You have turned in your school work, some have gotten jobs to help out family members. You have spent time with your family that in other situations, you might not have gotten to do. And you have done it with Pride. I'm proud of each and every one of you. Stay Strong Adair County! Together will Will Get Through This! #AdairStrong. This story was posted on 2020-04-21 07:17:31
