Geneva Vaughn Creason, 83, Green County, KY native Geneva Vaughn Creason of Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Robert Vaughn and Hazel Marr Vaughn, was born on Sunday, May 10, 1936 in Green County, and departed this life on Monday, April 20, 2020 at the Yorktown Senior House in Louisville. She was 83 years, 11 months, and 10 days of age. There will be private graveside services held for Geneva Vaughn Creason. Burial in the Aetna Grove Cemetery. Bro. Kelvin Edwards officiating. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Kenwood Church of Christ in Louisville. She was also a former Patient Assistant for Frazier Rehabilitation in Louisville. She united in marriage to Clell Ping Creason on December 22, 1951 who preceded her in death on January 10, 1982. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law: Judy and David Bowman, Gail and Don Torrance, and Jeanine and Vernon Hayes all of Louisville; a son and daughter-in-law: Bobby and Yvonne Creason of Shepherdsville; three sisters and three brothers: Lillian Reynolds of Magnolia, Lucille Milby of Summersville, Dixie Cline of Tennessee, Boyce Vaughn of Louisville, William Vaughn of Campbellsville, and Gene Vaughn of Greensburg; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Creason was also preceded in death by a daughter: Debbie Morrison; and a sister: Viola Vaughn. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the service arrangements.
