William Thomas Estes, 75

William Thomas Estes, 75, a retired stone mason, Louisville, KY, formerly of Breeding, KY, passed away suddenly, Thursday, January 22, 2004, at 2:31 at Caritas Medical Center in Louisville, KY.

This obituary updated January 25, 2004

The funeral service is Sunday, January 25, 2004, at 2:30 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, with Bro. Darrell Landis officiating.


Mr. Estes was the son of the late William Wheat and Annie Myrtle Thompson Estes of Adair County.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Gary Estes, Columbia, KY; and Tommy Estes, Louisville, KY
  • One daughter: Jean Davidson, Metter, GA
  • Two brothers: Everet Rudolph Estes, Louisville, KY; and Wayne Estes, New Albany, IN
  • Two sisters: Arcola Franklin and Loretta Budzisz, both of Columbia, KY
  • Eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The family requests visitation after 10:00 a.m., Sunday, January 25, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the Roach Cemetery at Breeding, KY.
