Mrs. Bennett says that this book is not yet a comprehensive list of all the stores which ever were in Adair County, but's she's already planning another book in what may be a series of memories of Adair County. This one, The Old Country Store, offers a fascinating set of vignettes about a part of what is an ever changing combination of Adair County community centers.
